I
have really been "around the Horn" regarding the maker
of these items. I have considered Dugan, Indiana, and
Imperial at one time and now think I must return to Indiana
Glass Company at Dunkirk, Indiana once again. This is not
to say that another famous glass company may not have originated
these patterns earlier. Indiana no doubt gained the
rights to many an earlier pattern after the demise of the
Northwood and Dugan factories, and it carried on making glass
for a long time after they ceased making glass objects. Chasing glass patterns has
proven as elusive as getting a guilty conviction of a celebrity
in a California courtroom. |
